If you want to be more active in Colorado’s disability community, there are plenty of opportunities to get involved. Here you’ll find CCDC’s calendar that includes not only the events and meetings that we host, but also the events and meetings our staff attends – and you’re invited to participate in any of the items featured here! Some calendar items are opportunities for learning, others are spaces to advocate for change, and others are just for fun.

If you find something on this calendar that interests you, but you’re new to attending meetings or events like these, or you’d simply like more information, please reach out to info@ccdconline.org. We want to connect with you, and we want you to become more connected to the world of disability advocacy!

CCDC 2026 ADA Access Awards

You’re invited to our annual ADA Access Awards! Buy your tickets now!

Join us for the 36th Annual ADA Celebration, a powerful evening honoring the legacy of the Americans with Disabilities Act and the leaders who continue to push its promise forward.

This milestone event celebrates individuals and groups who are advancing disability rights through bold advocacy, grassroots organizing, mentorship and community leadership. Together, we’ll recognize the progress we’ve made and recommit to the work still ahead.

Date: Friday, July 24, 2026

Location: The Denver Museum of Nature & Science

Time: 5:30pm to 7:00pm (MST)

Expect an inspiring night filled with celebration, connection and reflection. We’ll hear from this year’s award recipients, uplift stories from across the disability community and recognize the power of collective action.

Whether you’re a longtime advocate or new to the movement, we invite you to join us as we honor the past, celebrate the present and shape the future.

At CCDC, equity is at the heart of everything we do. In that spirit, we’re thrilled to share that thanks to generous supporters, we have a limited number of donated tickets available for those facing financial barriers. Your presence matters and we want to ensure that cost is not a barrier to participation. If you’d like to request a donated ticket or learn more, please reach out to Seyanna Hitt, our Development Director, at sdhitt@ccdconline.org. We’re committed to making this event accessible to all who wish to attend.
