Advanced Advocacy Training – Disability and Employment 

 

Colorado Cross-Disability Coalition (CCDC) is excited to announce the following Summer 2015 Advanced Advocacy Class

Focus Area

American With  Disabilities Act – Employment – See Proposed Agenda Below

 

This training provides an advanced education opportunity for community activists or for those looking for additional skills necessary to work in the field of disability services, advocacy, community organizing, the legislative process, and civil rights law.

     

Location: Colorado Department of Vocational Rehabilitation -2211 W. Evans, Denver, CO 80203 -The Columbine room

 

Date and Time: Thursday Aug 13, 2015 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM

 

Registration Cost

CCDC Members with a commitment to the CCDC Volunteer/Advocacy Team (120 hrs in 12 months) - free of cost

Affiliate/organization cost - $150 per applicant (second applicant from same organization $75)

 

Certification
CCDC Certificate of Completion – No cost

CCDC DU (CEU’s) Continuing Education Units = 1 credit $25 (Application and payment must be submitted by registration deadline – July 30, 2015)

Registration limited to first 20 Applicants.
