Children’s Medicaid Buy-In outreach session - Grand Junction

Please join us for a Children’s Buy-In outreach session to learn about the Medicaid Buy-In Program for Children with Disabilities.

The Medicaid Buy-In Program for Children with Disabilities (Children’s Buy-In) is a Medicaid program that will be available for enrollment in July 2012 and allow eligible families to pay a monthly premium to ‘buy-in’ to Medicaid benefits.
Who should attend?

Families, advocates and community organizations interested in learning more about this new Medicaid program.

The Children’s Buy-In may be an option for children with a disability to receive health care coverage, including children who:
•    Are on a waitlist for Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) or Medicaid Waiver, or were denied services;
•    Do not currently have health care insurance; or
•    Have needs that are not covered by private insurance

Space is limited, so please register in advance!

Registration Information:

Register now at hcpftraining.gosignmeup.com.  Advance registration is required for each session including the WebEx sessions. Please contact the Outreach section at Outreach@hcpf.state.co.us if you have any problems with the registration site.

Reasonable accommodations will be provided upon request for persons with disabilities. Please notify Martha at Martha.Beavers@state.co.us or 303-866-3998. Requests for accommodations should be made at least 7 days prior to the scheduled meeting in order to assure those accommodations can be provided.  Every effort will be made to fulfill requests made within 7 days, but cannot be assured.
