Children’s Medicaid Buy-In outreach session - Denver

Please join us for a Children’s Buy-In outreach session to learn about the Medicaid Buy-In Program for Children with Disabilities.

The Medicaid Buy-In Program for Children with Disabilities (Children’s Buy-In) is a Medicaid program that will be available for enrollment in July 2012 and allow eligible families to pay a monthly premium to ‘buy-in’ to Medicaid benefits.
Who should attend?

Families, advocates and community organizations interested in learning more about this new Medicaid program.

The Children’s Buy-In may be an option for children with a disability to receive health care coverage, including children who:
•    Are on a waitlist for Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) or Medicaid Waiver, or were denied services;
•    Do not currently have health care insurance; or
•    Have needs that are not covered by private insurance

Space is limited, so please register in advance!

Register now at  Advance registration is required for each session including the WebEx sessions. Please contact the Outreach section at if you have any problems with the registration site.

Reasonable accommodations will be provided upon request for persons with disabilities. Please notify Martha at or 303-866-3998. Requests for accommodations should be made at least 7 days prior to the scheduled meeting in order to assure those accommodations can be provided.  Every effort will be made to fulfill requests made within 7 days, but cannot be assured.
