 Moving the Point from the Margins to the Center:

Stories and Essays on Life 
in the Disability Maze

Calling all Story Tellers!


 Stories of Successes, Challenges, Failures, Frustrations, Change, Heartbreak, Victory, Defeat, Relationships, Work, Family, Advocacy, Friendship, Leadership, Love, Life!  How did you Chart Your Course from Point A to the Center?  Are you still in the margins? What is your dream? What is or has been your nightmare?

 Everyone has a story to tell. What’s Your Story?

CCDC is publishing a book of personal life stories.
We would like to include your story. 

Please send a story of any experience in your life journey that you would like to share with the world.  CCDC invites any person with a disability or a family member or friend of a person with a disability to submit a Word document or an audio file of no more than 5,000 words (10 pages) to this CCDC email address:

Deadline for Submissions:  January 15, 2015

All stories/essay submissions will be read, reviewed, and possibly edited if selected by CCDC Book Project Editorial Group.  You will have final approval on the inclusion of your story in the book.  Final selections will be approved and released for publication by you.  

Give yourself the gift of letting your unique personal voice be heard and be published.  The world needs you to share your personal story.  Use your talents and your imagination to add your personal story to this important book.  You are in the center! That’s the point! Share your story!
