Casting Call! Calling all Future Movie Stars!
06/06/2014 (All day) - 06/14/2014 (All day)
License Plate Auction Group (LPAG), a group of representatives from the Governor's Office, the Department of Motor Vehicles, the Disability Benefits Support Contract Committee and various other governmental and community organizations, is planning a live auction event to raise funds for the Disability Benefit Support Fund. These funds will help Coloradans with disabilities gain access to SSI, SSDI and MLTC benefits.
As part of the promotional efforts for the August 21st event, LPAG is creating several videos, each featuring a person who has benefitted from SSI, SSDI or MLCT benefits. LPAG is looking for people in Denver metro area or Boulder who would be willing to tell their stories on camera. The video team will ask the participant questions about his or her experience collecting SSI/SSDI/MLTC benefits, how long the process was, how those funds helped his or her budget, etc. Each interview will be edited down to a 2-3 minute video, which will live on LPAG's website and social media channels.
Time commitment: Each interview shoot would be about an hour long.
Location: The video crew can come to the person's home, assuming he or she is comfortable having them. If the participant is not comfortable having the video crew into his or her home, we could find an alternate space.
Dates: LPAG is looking to shoot interviews the week of 6/2 or the week of 6/9. Exact dates will be determined based on availability.
