Disability and First Amendment Discrimination (Investigation)

CREEC and CCDC are seeking stories from people with disabilities who were denied services for reasons that claimed to be based on religion, “first amendment” or free expression, or artistic value. For example, an aide refusing to serve a person with a disability who is gay or Muslim. A cab or Uber driver refusing to transport a service dog on religious grounds. A business refusing to make architectural changes on artistic grounds. If you have experienced any of these types of different treatment, contact Amy Robertson at arobertson@creeclaw.org.
