Over-the-Road Bus Companies


Colorado Cross-Disability Coalition, et. al. v. Greyhound Bus Lines, et. al. , D.C. Colo., Civil Action No. 07-cv-0598-CMA-MEH


The bus companies discriminate against passengers with disabilities in the following ways:

  • failing to acquire accessible vehicles;

  • failing to reserve buses with wheelchair lifts when asked forty-eight or more hours in advance;

  • failing to allow passengers who use wheelchairs off the bus at stops;

  • failing to schedule all legs of a trip with one phone call;

  • failing to maintain wheelchair lifts in working order;

  • failing to remain courteous and respectful to passengers with disabilities;


The Complaint was filed on March 27, 2007. Plaintiffs have resolved all claims with Burlington Trailways, Busco, Inc. d/b/a Arrow Stage Lines, Black Hills Stage Lines, and Greyhound Lines, Inc.
